The Limited Slip Differential (LSD) is an excellent compromise between an open diffuser and a fully closed diffuser. CUSCO mechanisms (Type RS and Type MZ) are adjustable so that the force of the mechanism can be freely adjusted.

CUSCO TYPE RS DIFFERENTIAL

With the CUSCO Type RS differentials, the use of coil springs makes the initial actuation force of the clutch plates lower than on the MZ, making the differential response to skid faster and smoother. The Cusco LSD RS has the ability to personalize settings by adding or subtracting mechanism springs, and pressure rings with double profiles, allowing you to switch between 1-way / 1.5 way, 1-way / 2-way or 1.5-way / 2-way modes without the need to purchase additional components .

MOST IMPORTANT FEATURES:

• 1-way specification
• Designed mainly for FWD or AWD cars with an emphasis on front-drive. Activated only in the event of acceleration, it acts like regular LSD.
• Specification 1.5-way
• Recommended for use in cars with a tendency to understeer, activated during acceleration and deceleration, e.g. in a curve.
• 2-way specification.
• Designed for RWD and AWD cars where most of the power is transferred to the rear axle. Recommended for people who prefer aggressive riding and large angles during drifts. Activated during both acceleration and braking.
